The host sent us detailed instructions in advance, so we had no questions upon arrival. There is a grocery store and a bakery nearby, and the location is very convenient, with a metro station and bus stops within walking distance. The price-quality ratio for staying in Paris is very good at this property. The commute to the city center is very convenient - you can reach all the attractions without changing transportation modes (taxis are also relatively inexpensive). We were warned that this area of Paris (the 13th district) is not safe, but we did not notice any dangers, and our stay was very peaceful. We had no trouble buying groceries at local stores. The owner of the apartment called us herself to make sure everything was okay. This indicates that if we needed any help, it would likely have been provided."
